Paul Strand, Photographer, Orgeval, France 1973. From a restored Polaroid SX-70 print. This was a family of one of the workers, captured on Polaroid 4x5 inch black and white film. Funny how things happen: the laughing girl was too dark to see in the original. I didn't notice her until I scanned the print in 2007 - and she makes the image work!
