Alley, Paris

Jon Goell has been a publications photographer since his college days, shooting for magazines, corporations, ad agencies, architects, and the education community. While most of his assignments are in color, some of which are shown here, most of his personal work is in black and white, beginning with European early street work. Other projects, such as his Urban Indian documentary from Tucson, work from Turkey, Italy, and Boston, Polaroid projects, the Holocaust Survivors “Portraits of Life” series, drawings, and more will be added in time.

In 2000, Jon became a full professor of photography at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. He continues to balance his teaching with photo and retouching assignments in the Washington, DC area.
