Alley, ParisJon Goell has been a working publications photographer since his college days in the late 1960s. While most of his professional photography assignments have been in color (some of which are shown on this site), most of the images presented here are in black and white, beginning with European street work from the Sixties and Seventies. Coming soon are additional galleries of work from specific projects, such as his Urban Indian documentary from Tucson, Florence after the 1966 flood, work from Turkey and Boston, Polaroid projects, the Holocaust Survivors “Portraits of Life” series, drawings, and more.
After three decades in business, and seeking a change of pace, Jon joined the photography faculty at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, where he is a full professor.
